Lions Bay Forever - the village we love, moving forward together

I've lived in Lions Bay for over seven years and I'm running for council because this amazing community deserves genuine collaboration and clear communication. As a Professional Engineer and Project Manager, I've spent my career solving problems by weighing facts and reasonable assumptions and I believe that same pragmatic approach could truly help right here at home. I'm a traditionalist who believes in thoughtful collaboration that would allow Lions Bay to adapt without losing what made it the place I wanted to raise a family. It’s not just a place people live: we’re all neighbours that actually know each other and have a sense that we're in this together. That's worth protecting as much as it's worth improving. Lions Bay, forever.

I'm running because I want to help and I believe my skillset and experience can be a real asset to the village. I bring a measured, composed approach: someone who listens first, then acts. My instinct is to look at the facts, but just as importantly, to understand what matters most to this community and let both guide the decisions I make. I want to bring that same steady approach to council: open to change, rooted in tradition, and always willing to hear people out and align with what this community believes in.

Climate Action & Sustainability

Continue the safeguarding our water supply, reduce forest fire risk, and build stronger emergency preparedness, so this village is ready, not reactive, when it matters most. Review and reinforce our geotechnical and geohazard understanding so that the village and villagers are informed and empowered to safeguard our home.

Community Indentity

Listening to residents before decisions are made, so the future of Lions Bay reflects what this community believes in, while also preserving what makes our village unique.

Infrastructure

Prioritize maintenance and upgrades to key infrastructure to provide the current and future generations of villagers improved quality of life.
